Description:

Here it is, my second trick jumping movie. It's been about 6 or 7 months since I released my last movie ( Dreaming Illusion) and this time it's something completely different. For this project I wanted to create something new and fresh, but as many of you know that's almost impossible nowadays. The way I made this movie may be extremely anoying for some but I hope there's even someone who finds it fascinating.

The soundtrack consists of trip-hop and chill music from artists The Silk Demise and Blue Foundation. The movie lasts for about 13 minutes and there are two versions available: 720p and 400p. Both with 40fps.

This movie started because of an idea that I couldn't get out of my head. The main reason for the whole project is music, mostly the intro song. When I heard it, I couldn't get it out of my head. I had to use it, no matter what. Since it had been used in a well known trailer (300 trailers), I had a dilemma. I hate when people use the same songs over and over again and now I'm doing it myself. (ironic heh?) But finally I decided to use the song and build a whole movie around it. When my mind decides to want something, I just can't control it.

The movie is dark, I know. The movie is extremely confusing and hard to understand, I know. The reason for these are simple: I like dark and I also like to think while I'm watching a movie. I made this movie for myself. Not for anyone else, but as a project to pleasure me. This thing is a hobby for me and as soon as one starts to please others while making a movie, it starts to be a job, which is what I'm never going to do.

So as a conclusion, If you have a hard time understanding trick movies in general, this movie might not be the best for you. The camera angles are tricky and there's alot of cutting, plus it's dark. Remember to watch this movie during the night. Sunlight will completely destroy the whole experience. Every trick in this movie is understandable if you just think hard enough.

Some of the tricks are timescaled. And finally please, if your computer has the power to run 720p, download it (mine is 1,8GHz and it runs smoothly). 400p looks kinda bad imo :x.

I thought I should tell you guys (those who are so bored that they REALLY read the readme file) something about the making of
this movie. After finishing my last movie, Dreaming Illusion, I was so damn bored of editing and I thought to myself, I would
never do another trick jumping movie again. But then it hit me while I was listening The Silk Demise: This song is everything
I would want to hear in a tricking movie. Since the whole band is unknown to almost everyone, I had to do it myself. I knew
that the whole project would drain every freaking pleasure of editing away from me, since I wasn't quite ready to make another
big movie again. Before I started my first tricking movie I honestly thought that "it's only 13 minutes of editing. That can't
take long". Damn was I wrong then. Making 13 minutes takes fucking AGES!

So, I had the song (well two songs, The Garden and Carol Lavelle remix). All I needed were the tricks. This is where the OPC
tricking forum steps in to place again. I requested demos from them and again they gladly gave me unreleased demos. 
FANTASTIC demos I might say. I have watched alot of demos during my movie making "career" and these are just awesome. Buddha,
piki and Ebola made yet again some really innovative tricks. I know I didn't show their tricks the best way possible (I will
get to that later) and I apologize for that. Those who want to see the tricks better, watch the demos I included with the rar.

So, I know many wonder why the hell did I use the same song as the 300 trailer. When your mind decides that it wants to do
something particular, it's near to impossible to change that idea. This happened to me. The exact moment when I heard the 
song, I HAD to use it. I didn't have any other ideas in my head. I couldn't come up with any other ideas because of this song.
I really tried but when it comes to things like this, my mind has a mind of it's own (makes sense). Before I even started
to make the intro I knew that I couldn't make something so spectacular as the 300 trailer. It's my favourite trailer of all
time and I had to do my best. I am kinda satisfied with the result but it's no 300 trailer for sure. I know people will
comment on the intro music and those who doesn't read this, won't necessarily understand my reasons for it. I for one hate
when people use the same songs again and again, and now I am doing that. Ironic heh?

Above I talked about how this project was torture for me. It wasn't all the time like that. I edit movies because I love it.
I do it to pleasure me, to make me happy, not others. I make movies for myself, not for others. For me, when someone tries
to please others while making a movie, it starts to become a job, not a hobby. This thing is a hobby for me and it will
stay that way. You will notice while watching this movie that I clearly didn't think of the audience at all. The movie is
damn complicated. I made it for my own taste. I just hope there is people out there that think and like the same things in 
a movie as I do. I did notice around the halfway of the movie that some will really hate this. It's really interesting for
me to see how the public will respond to this project.

Some may now wonder why did I start this project too early then. Why not wait couple months? Well the answer is simple: army.
I'm leaving to the army tomorrow (it's 8th July now) and I really wanted to make a movie before that. Else it would have
taken me a year from now to make another movie. I pushed myself and I'm happy I did. It felt damn good when I was adding 
texts to the outro. Everything else was done by then.

Lastly I just want to apologize the trickers for the way I present the tricks. Everyone didn't get their tricks shown
clearly because of my editing. Cutting and camera angles make them so that you, the watcher, really need to concentrate to
understand the trick fully. Every trick in this movie is understandable if you watch it couple times. I just like it this
way. I want to think while I'm watching a movie.

Damn, I could talk hours about this movie. I have so many things I would like to explain since I sense people will have
questions. I thank you reader for reading this small outburst of mine and I thank you for watching the movie. I'm happy if
you enjoyed the movie but if not, there are dozens of simpler and good movies out there.

Ohh yeah one more thing. The movie is dark. I know. Watch it in a dark room during the night and you will see enough to 
understand it. Sunlight will just destroy your experience.

How I did it?
---------------

First I captured with 200fps to .tga files and then I made the shots to an .avi file with 200fps. I captured the shots
in 1280x720 resolution. I used Huffyuv codec to compress the .avis a little without quality loss. After that I moved the
.avis to Vegas and synched them to the music. After that I exported them out of Vegas and worked on them in afx. In afx I
made the color corrections and effects. after that I exported the avis back to Vegas. I'm sure there's some better way to
do all this but this is just my way.
